We use cookies and similar local-storage mechanisms to make the service work, to remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — to measure how the service is used and how advertising campaigns perform.

Essential cookies (always on)

These cannot be disabled because the service stops working without them. No consent is required under EU ePrivacy rules.

  • An authentication session cookie — keeps you signed in between page loads and is cleared when you sign out.
  • A language preference cookie (WGF_LOCALE) — remembers which language you chose so we don't reset it on every visit.
  • A consent record cookie (WGF_CONSENT) — stores the choices you made in the cookie banner so we don't ask again on every page.
  • Local UI preferences (column widths, dismissed banners) — stored only in your browser; never sent to our servers.

Statistics cookies (optional — requires consent)

If you accept the Statistics category in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager. These cookies help us understand which features are actually used so we can improve them. IP addresses are anonymised before Google processes them.

  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics visitor + session identifiers. Retention: up to 2 years.
  • _gid — Google Analytics session token. Retention: 24 hours.
  • _gat — Google Analytics rate-limiter. Retention: 1 minute.

Marketing cookies (optional — requires consent)

If you accept the Marketing category, we load Google Ads tags to (a) measure which advertising campaigns led you to sign up or pay, and (b) build remarketing audiences so Google may show you our ads on other sites later. Cookies in this category are set by Google's domains, not ours.

  • _gcl_au, _gcl_aw — Google Ads conversion + click identifiers. Retention: up to 90 days.
  • IDE (doubleclick.net) — Google Ads audience + frequency cap. Retention: up to 13 months.
  • NID (google.com) — Google preferences + ad personalisation. Retention: up to 6 months.

Consent Mode v2

All Google tags load in a denied state by default and only fire once you grant the matching category. You can change your choice at any time — clear the WGF_CONSENTcookie via your browser settings and the banner will appear again on the next page load.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session cookie will log you out; clearing the consent cookie will re-trigger the banner.
